On April 14th, President Gao Xiang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, led a delegation to visit Anhui University of Science and Technology for an inspection and research. Academician Yuan Liang, the president of Anhui University of Science and Technology, welcomed the delegation.
Yuan Liang extended a warm welcome to Gao Xiang and his team and accompanied them on a tour of the university's history museum. He introduced the 80-year development history and landmark achievements of the university, and expressed that Anhui University of Science and Technology and Zhejiang University of Technology have a high degree of alignment in their educational positioning, development history, and disciplinary structure. He hoped that both sides would maintain a good cooperative relationship and jointly promote the high-quality development of various undertakings.
Gao Xiang stated that both universities are members of the Yangtze River Delta Higher Engineering Education Alliance, and the cooperation prospects are broad. He hoped that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to strengthen communication and deepen cooperation, and jointly promote the development of both universities to a new level.
After the meeting, Yuan Liang accompanied Gao Xiang and his team to visit the national key laboratory of Anhui University of Science and Technology.
