Recently, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) held the 2024 Board Meeting of the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, President of the University of Ghana and Chairperson of the Board on the Ghanaian side, Zhang Xiaoqin, Vice President of ZJUT and Chairperson of the Board on the Chinese side, board members, heads of the International Office from both universities, and the directors of the Confucius Institutes from both sides attended the meeting.
On behalf of ZJUT, Vice President Zhang Xiaoqin extended sincere greetings to the University of Ghana and the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, and introduced recent developments and achievements of ZJUT. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo provided an overview of the University of Ghana’s educational operations and future development priorities, expressing gratitude to ZJUT for its longstanding support of the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana. Both sides also discussed and exchanged views on future work, expressing a mutual desire to leverage the platform advantages of the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana to foster a closer partnership between the two universities.
