From December 13rd to 15th, 2024, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) hosted the 2024 Zhejiang Province Physics Academic and Teaching Seminar and the Annual Meeting of Zhejiang Physical Society. The meeting was attended by esteemed guests including Sun Changpu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of the Graduate School of China Academy of Engineering Physics, and Ma Yugang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, nuclear physicist, and vice president of Fudan University. Zheng Renchao, the head of the ZJUT’s Organization Department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Physics scholars from various universities within the province conducted eight exchange reports. They engaged in group discussions on key topics including leveraging artificial intelligence in physics teaching, the development of first-class physics courses and programs, the cultivation of young teachers, and the construction of physics experiment centers, covering theoretical, experimental, and professional aspects.
