On November 25th, 2024, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) and Deqing County held a joint meeting on university-local cooperation at the Deqing Administrative Center. Attending the meeting were members of the Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT)’s Party Committee, and administrative leadership team, including Cai Yuanqiang, Party Secretary, and Gao Xiang, President of ZJUT and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as Wang Bo, Secretary of the Deqing County Party Committee, other county leaders, high-tech zone leaders, and responsible officials from related departments of ZJUT and Deqing County.
Cai Yuanqiang stated that since the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement was signed between ZJUT and the Deqing County People’s Government, both sides have jointly embarked on a new chapter of shared construction and collaborative development. Gao Xiang noted that ZJUT and Deqing County have made remarkable achievements in various fields, including scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, and social services. Wang Bo reviewed the outcomes of the decade-long cooperation, profoundly recognizing the significant changes brought about by the mutual efforts of the university and the city.
The meeting also featured the signing ceremony of the co-construction agreement for the expansion project of the Mogan Mountain Campus of ZJUT.
